Mechanical Enhancement
Mechanical enhancement for wet processing that uses high frequency sound waves to increase the movement of liquid around individual fibres. The application of ultrasonic wash agitation creates localized pressure changes that drive liquor into the yarn structure. This method provides an alternative to traditional mechanical beating or spraying.
Power Vibration
Power from an electronic generator is converted into mechanical vibrations by transducers. When ultrasonic wash agitation is introduced to a wash tank, it produces thousands of tiny implosions every second. These implosions generate high-speed liquid micro-jets that scrub the surface of the fabric more effectively than traditional paddles or spray bars.
Liquor Diffusion
Movement is often stalled by a thin film of stagnant water that clings to the yarn. The use of ultrasonic wash agitation breaks this boundary layer, allowing fresh chemicals to reach the core of the fibre instantly. This accelerated diffusion reduces the time needed for washing or dyeing and often allows for lower processing temperatures.
Delicate Handling
Fragile materials benefit from this method because it provides intense cleaning without the abrasive force of heavy mechanical beating. Since ultrasonic wash agitation works at a molecular level, it does not damage the surface of silk or fine wool as easily as high-speed rollers. The process is also quieter and more energy efficient than steam-based agitation systems in some industrial settings.
