Pressure Measurement
Sensing instruments detect hydrostatic force through a flat metallic surface aligned flush with the internal wall of a process pipe or vessel. A flush diaphragm sensor measures the pressure or level of dye liquors without allowing lint or chemical residues to accumulate in a sensing cavity. This design prevents clogging and maintains measurement accuracy over long production cycles.
Clog Prevention
Fibrous particles and chemical precipitates in textile wastewater and dye baths quickly block conventional recess-type sensors. The flush diaphragm sensor avoids this problem by presenting a smooth face to the process stream which is continuously cleaned by the flowing liquor. This self-cleaning action eliminates the need for frequent manual maintenance or flushing lines.
Signal Accuracy
Electronic transmitters translate the mechanical deflection of the membrane into an electrical signal for the control system. Using a flush diaphragm sensor ensures that the signal remains accurate even when processing highly viscous finishing agents or thick printing pastes. This reliability is essential for automated dosing and level control in modern finishing mills.
Durable Design
Robust materials such as stainless steel or titanium are selected for the active membrane. This construction allows the flush diaphragm sensor to withstand corrosive chemicals and high temperatures without drift.
