Distribution Device
Mixing chambers designed to combine several separate chemical streams into a single homogenous feed before delivery to the dye applicator ensure uniform treatment. A multi stream dosing manifold accepts individual feeds of dyes, alkalis, and auxiliary chemicals to mix them just prior to the pad box. This minimizes the time that reactive chemicals are in contact before reaching the fabric, preventing premature reaction.
It is a critical component of modern continuous dyeing ranges.
Mechanical Design
Internal channels within the block are engineered to create turbulence that ensures thorough mixing without requiring moving parts. The multi stream dosing manifold divides and recombines the incoming fluids through a series of geometric passages. This passive mixing action prevents the formation of concentrated chemical streaks that could cause uneven dyeing on the fabric.
High-grade stainless steel is used to resist corrosion from aggressive chemicals.
Process Control
Automated dosing units regulate the flow of each chemical into the entry ports of the block to match the production recipe. In this setup, the multi stream dosing manifold allows rapid shifts in the recipe without stopping the production line or wasting large volumes of dye liquor. By dosing the dye and the alkali separately and mixing them at the last moment, the system prevents the hydrolysis of reactive dyes.
This approach maintains high color yield and consistency.
Maintenance Requirement
Partial blockages of the small internal channels can cause pressure imbalances and alter the dosing ratios. Regular automated flushing cycles are required between batch changes to keep the channels clean.
