Liquid Infusion
Extraction of air from a textile structure prior to liquid application is an effective way to improve chemical penetration and process efficiency. The application of vacuum pre wetting achieves this by running the fabric strip over a vacuum slot, which draws air out of the fiber interstices and immediately replaces it with water or treatment solution. This process ensures a rapid and uniform distribution of finishing chemicals or dyes throughout the material.
Industrial finishing lines use this technique to prepare dense or tightly woven fabrics for high-speed padding.
Air Extraction
Removing the air barrier within the yarn structure allows the treatment liquid to enter the fabric instantly. Without this step, trapped air bubbles can block chemical pickup, leading to uneven dyeing or patchy finishing results.
Energy Economy
Eliminating the need for long saturation times in large liquid baths reduces both water and chemical consumption. This reduction contributes to lower operating costs and a smaller environmental footprint for the finishing mill.
Process Control
Modern continuous ranges monitor the vacuum level and fabric speed to maintain consistent moisture pick-up across the entire production run. These parameters are adjusted automatically depending on the weight and density of the incoming fabric. This control ensures that each batch of fabric receives the same level of chemical treatment.
