Turbulence Control
Fluid integration assembly designed to blend multiple chemical streams into a single homogenous output using internal turbulence. A dynamic mixing manifold is used in high speed textile lines where dyes and catalysts must be combined just before application to the fabric. The boundary of its operation is the point of discharge where the mixture enters the applicator unit.
Chemical Integration
Internal baffles or spinning elements create the shear forces necessary to combine liquids of different viscosities. Because the dynamic mixing manifold operates in real time, it eliminates the need for large holding tanks of pre-mixed chemicals.
Pressure Stability
High flow rates inside the chamber prevent the settling of solid particles or the separation of emulsions. If the dynamic mixing manifold fails to maintain enough agitation, the resulting mixture will be streaky and cause defects on the textile.
Physical Boundary
Uniform output depends on the constant pressure of the incoming chemical feeds. Any fluctuation in the supply lines will disrupt the performance of the dynamic mixing manifold and lead to an inconsistent blend. Sensors installed at the inlet and outlet ports monitor the pressure drop across the device to ensure it is not becoming clogged with residue.
This monitoring is a standard part of the quality assurance process in a modern finishing plant.
