Thermal Fixation
High speed production range designed for the application and heat setting of disperse dyes on polyester and polyester blend fabrics. Operation of a continuous thermosol line involves padding fabric through a dye bath followed by infrared predrying and final contact with high temperature air or heated rollers. Success in this process depends on the exact synchronization of speed and temperature across multiple heating zones.
Equipment Sequence
Integration of multiple machines into a single run allows for high throughput in modern mill environments. The process begins at the padder where fabric absorbs a precise amount of dye liquor. Tension rollers guide the material into a predryer to remove excess moisture without disturbing the dye particles.
Afterward, the fabric enters the thermosol chamber for the final fixation step.
Heat Application
Temperatures inside the chamber typically reach between 190 and 210 degrees celsius to ensure the dye molecules penetrate the polyester fiber structure. Rapid heating is necessary to achieve the depth of shade in a short dwell time. Airflow must be balanced to prevent cold spots that cause uneven color.
Industrial Capacity
Maintenance of this machinery is necessary for preventing oil spots or tension variations that ruin long yardages. Clean rollers are essential.
