Separation Technology
Liquid purification systems remove contaminants from process streams without interrupting the flow of material. In textile finishing, continuous filtration maintains the purity of dye baths and recycling systems by clearing lint or chemical precipitates. This setup uses automated backwashing or moving filter media to prevent blockages.
Dyehouse Efficiency
Recirculating systems rely on the removal of solids to prevent pump wear and nozzle clogging. Using continuous filtration in a mercerising range allows the recovery of caustic soda by stripping out cellulosic fragments that would otherwise contaminate the bath. This recovery reduces chemical consumption and lessens the load on effluent treatment plants while maintaining the concentration of the processing liquor.
High volume operations utilize these systems to ensure that the dye remains in suspension without the interference of stray particles.
Filter Cleansing
Sensors detect when the resistance to flow increases, triggering a cleaning cycle that does not stop the primary fluid transfer. Automated continuous filtration prevents the sudden spikes in pressure that damage sensitive heat exchangers.
Water Recycling
Industrial laundries and heavy finishing mills implement these systems to close the water loop. Effective continuous filtration captures microplastics and particulate matter before the water enters secondary treatment. The resulting sludge is collected separately for disposal.
