Liquor Circulation
High-temperature pressurized vessels process fabric in rope form by circulating both the textile and the dye liquor through a venturi nozzle. Modern jet dyeing machines utilize a high-velocity stream of dye liquor to transport the fabric rope through the processing chamber, ensuring rapid contact between the dyes and the fibres. This hydrodynamic transport minimizes fabric tension, reducing the risk of stretching or distorting delicate knit goods during the high-temperature dyeing cycle.
Nozzle Action
The venturi nozzle accelerates the liquid flow to create a pressure differential that pulls the fabric rope forward. This action ensures that the dye solution penetrates deep into the yarn structure, yielding highly uniform color across the entire batch. Technicians adjust the nozzle pressure to match the fabric weight and construction, avoiding surface abrasion on sensitive textiles.
Liquor Ratio
Low water consumption is achieved by maintaining a small volume of dye liquid relative to the weight of the textile. These machines operate at liquor ratios as low as one to five, which reduces the energy required to heat the dye bath and lowers the volume of wastewater generated during the rinsing stage.
Knot Prevention
Fabric ropes can tangle or knot inside the storage chamber, interrupting the circulation of the textile.
